Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU), in association with Write Act Repertory, invites you to the 2026 Audition Conference for Theater (ACT26). This is your opportunity to be seen by over 40 theater companies, producers, writers, directors, and casting directors in a single weekend.
The Main Event: Audition Weekend
The heart of the conference is a high-energy weekend of virtual auditions where you have two minutes to make an impression on a panel of diverse industry professionals across live theater, film, and virtual media, all with casting needs and eager to hire!
- Dates: Saturday & Sunday, May 2 and 3, 2026
- Time: 11:30 AM – 6:00 PM ET (Both days)
- Format:
- Saturday, May 2: Non-Singing Auditions (Two contrasting monologues)
- Sunday, May 3: Singing Auditions (One monologue and one song)
As part of the benefit, we invite everyone to a trio of preparatory workshops avalable for you to take advantage of.
- Meet the Coaches: Saturday, April 4 (2:00 PM – 6:00 PM ET)
- Tech Smart: Digital Audition Toolbox: Monday, April 13 (Evening)
- Virtual Audition Technique & Protocol: Thursday, April 23 or Saturday, April 25
Registration Details
TRU members and AEA members receive priority acceptance. Early application is strongly encouraged, as the first 80 applicants are guaranteed priority time assignments.
- Registration Fee: Included in the application (Non-members may apply a portion of the fee toward a TRU annual membership).
- Final Submission Deadline: April 16, 2026 (Subject to availability).
