Tony-winning original Rent star Wilson Jermaine Heredia has set a directorial debut with J. William Bruce (Avarice)'s new play A Means to an End. The work will get a two-performance world premiere at NYC's Producer's Club February 21.
Bruce is also starring in the work, which according to press notes is based on true events and "poses the question, 'Who knew defining your story would be this hard?'"
Heredia burst onto the scene creating the role of Angel Schunard in the original company of 1996's Pulitzer- and Tony-winning Rent, returning to Broadway in 2011 in a revival of La Cage Aux Folles.
