The Williamstown Theatre Festival is going all out to celebrate the 60th anniversary of A Raisin in the Sun debuting on Broadway.
Joining the previously announced starring S. Epatha Merkerson and Francois Battiste, will be a July 10 panel a panel titled "Lorraine Hansberry - A Living Legacy / New Artists and New Visions," led by Hansberry Literary Executor Joi Gresham, biographer Soyica Colbert, and playwrights Talvin Wilks and Tracey Scott Wilson.
Additionally, Tony winner Katrina Lenk (The Band’s Visit) and three-time Golden Globe winner Richard Chamberlain (Shogun, The Thorn Birds) will appear in a reading of For Nina July 12 as a part of the Fridays@3 series.
Other Fridays@3 readings include Michele Pawk joining André Braugher in Tell Them I’m Still Young July 5 and Kate Bornstein, Samy El-Noury, Dana Levinson, Shakina Nayfack, and Ianne Fields Stewart in Chonburi International Hotel & Butterfly Club July 26.

Additionally, Nicole Villamil (Network) has joined the cast of Tell Me I’m Not Crazy, running July 24–August 3, replacing Nadine Malouf.
Lastly, the 2019 season will also include a reading of The Soap Myth by Jeff Cohen, directed by Pam Berlin, and starring Ed Asner (The Mary Tyler Moore Show) and Tovah Feldshuh (Golda's Balcony) July 22.
