Tony winner Kristin Chenoweth visited the daytime talk show The View on Halloween and came dressed as Judy Garland. “She was the original 4-foot-11 songstress, so we have that in common,” said Chenoweth.
Chenoweth begins her Broadway engagement, My Love Letter to Broadway, at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre November 2. And, yes, she is a little nervous. “The day I stop getting nervous is probably the day I’ll quit,” said Chenoweth. “I still want to make every night special.”
The singer will offer audiences a selection of Broadway tunes and melodies from her newest album, The Art of Elegance.
She then regaled the audience with Zing! Went the Strings of My Heart, a song made famous by the late Garland.
