London News West End Revival of Cabaret Welcomes Adam Gillen and Katherine Langford September 23

The London revival at the Kit Kat Club also welcomes several other actors to the hit production.

London's Olivier-winning Cabaret revival welcomes several new stars to the Kit Kat Club September 23.

Olivier nominee Adam Gillen (Killer Joe, Benidorm) is the new Emcee, and Golden Globe nominee Katherine Langford (Knives Out, 13 Reasons Why) steps into the role of Sally Bowles. Gillen and Langford, who succeed Layton Williams and Rhea Norwood, will continue in the production through January 25, 2025.

Also joining the cast September 23 are Daniel Bowerbank as Clifford Bradshaw, Fred Haig as Ernst Ludwig, Xenoa Campbell-Ledgister, Sam Darius, Adrian Grove, Justin-Lee Jones, Alexandra Regan, Marina Tavolieri, Ben Simon Wilson, Anne-Marie Wojna, and Lucy Young. Continuing in the show are Sally Ann Triplett as Fraulein Schneider, Fenton Gray as Herr Schultz, Jessica Kirton as Fraulein Kost/Fritzie, Damon Gould, El Haq Latief, Ela Lisondra, Hícaro Nicolai, Andy Rees, and Patrick Wilden.

Langford has several pre-arranged absences from the production. Nic Myers will play Sally Bowles September 25 at 2 PM, October 3 at 7:30 PM, and October 9 at 2 PM. Beginning October 16, Anne-Marie Wojna will play the role of Sally Bowles once a week.

The prologue company includes Rachel Benson, Ami Benton, Onyemachi Ejimofor, Joseph Hardy, Liz Kamille, Andrew Linnie, Aine McLoughlin, Jack William Parry, Jazmyn Raikes, Oliver Stockley, and Ena Yamaguchi.

This production of Cabaret opened in December 2021, subsequently winning a record-breaking seven Olivier Awards. The revival transferred to Broadway's August Wilson Theatre, where it continues.

Based on the play by John Van Druten and stories by Christopher Isherwood, Cabaret has music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb, and a book by Joe Masteroff.

This production is directed by Rebecca Frecknall with set and costume design by Tom Scutt, choreography by Julia Cheng, musical supervision by Jennifer Whyte, musical direction by Ben Ferguson, lighting design by Isabella Byrd, and sound design by Nick Lidster. The casting director is Stuart Burt, and the associate director is Jordan Fein.
