Spring Awakening and Hamilton Tony nominee Jonathan Groff lends his voice to a lost toy in the limited new Netflix series Lost Ollie, which arrives August 24 on Netflix.
Shannon Tindle (Kubo and the Two Strings, Coraline) created and wrote the series, which is inspired by author and illustrator Ollie’s Odyssey. Oscar winner Peter Ramsey (Spider-man: Into the Spider-verse) directs a cast that also features Mary J. Blige, Tim Blake Nelson, Gina Rodriguez, Jake Johnson, and Kesler Talbot.
Lost Ollie follows a toy who braves the dangers of childhood as he searches the countryside to reunite with the boy who lost him; it is also the story of the boy who lost more than a friend.
Tindle and Ramsey executive produce with 21 Laps Entertainment's Shawn Levy and Josh Barry, Brandon Oldenburg, and Lampton Enochs. Emily Morris is co-executive producer.
