After winning a Tony Award and becoming a true star of the stage and screen playing such roles as Celie in The Color Purple and Harriet Tubman in Harriet, Cynthia Erivo is finally playing the role we've all been waiting for: Jingles, the sentient, singing ice cream truck.

Erivo joins fellow Broadway alum Joshua Dela Cruz in an upcoming episode of Blues Clues & You!, airing October 18 at 10 AM ET on Nick Jr. (check local listings). See Jingles share her love of ice cream with Josh and Blue with a soulful song in a clip from the episode above.

Erivo's next big role is Elphaba in the upcoming two-part movie adaptation of Broadway's Wicked, the first of which is set to hit movie theatres November 27, 2024. She will share the screen with Ariana Grande as Glinda, Ethan Slater as Boq, Olivier winner Jonathan Bailey as Fiyero, and more.

A former Broadway Aladdin in Aladdin, Dela Cruz has hosted Blue's Clues & You! since 2018. The series spawned a movie musical in 2022 that saw Josh and Blue working to land a role in a big Broadway musical. Blue's Big City Adventure featured cameos from a number of Broadway favorites, including BD Wong, Ali Stroker, Phillipa Soo, and Steven Pasquale.
