Broadway alum and New York City Ballet Prima Ballerina Tiler Peck is the subject of Emmy winner and Tony nominee Elisabeth Moss’ first stab at documentary producing, Ballet Now. The 75-minute film follows Peck as she curates the second ever iteration of BalletNow, a three-night dance series at Los Angeles’ The Music Center in July.
Directed by Steven Cantor (Blood Ties: The Life and Work of Sally Mann), the documentary highlights Peck’s stress and responsibility involved in forming a company of international dancers for 15 different performances—some of which Peck dances in herself.
In addition to her role as a principal dancer with the New York City Ballet, Peck has appeared on Broadway in On The Town and The Music Man.
Moss is known for her role on Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale, for which she also serves as a producer.
