Ever After, the Zina Goldrich–Marcy Heisler musical adaptation of the 1998 Drew Barrymore film, is set to premiere at the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia, January 15. Sierra Boggess (School of Rock, The Little Mermaid) plays Danielle in the new take on the Cinderella fairytale.
Boggess previewed a song from the score as part of the Alliance’s Behind the Musical event on December 20. Check out her performance of “Who Needs Love” in the video above.

The cast will also include Terry Burrell (The Threepenny Opera) as Queen Marie, Todd Buonopane (Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella) as Captain Laurent, David Garrison as Leonardo da Vinci, Chris Kayser as King Francis, Jeff McCarthy (The Pirate Queen, Urinetown) as Pierre Malette, Tim Rogan as Prince Henry, and Drama Desk Award winner Rachel York (Head Over Heels, Disaster!) as Baroness Rodmilla du Ghent.
