A newly released music video for "Single City (Remix)" features Matt Doyle, accompanied by songwriter Michael Mott.
The song is the latest collaboration for the pair. Doyle (Spring Awakening, The Book of Mormon) appeared at the composer’s concert Michael Mott & Friends: Get Up On My Feet, A Celebratory Benefit for The Actors Fund to debut the single.
"I'm thrilled to have worked with Michael on this," said Doyle. "I adore his music and it was really special to team up and bring this song to life. It's a piece that I know many New Yorkers can really identify with. There is a magic to the city, but also a loneliness that can really test us at times."
Produced and Directed by Christopher Meek, "Single City (Remix)" features creative direction by Gregg Wiggans. The song is co-produced by Mott and Rich Matthew, who created Mott's second album Abandoned Heart. The original version of the song features Loren Allred.
While Mott primarily focuses on songwriting, he performed lead vocals on the single "Love in Stereo." Watch the Meek-directed video below.
