Watch Mandy Gonzalez’s Powerful Music Video for Lin-Manuel Miranda’s ’Fearless’

Mandy Gonzalez, who currently stars as Angelica Schuyler in Broadway's Hamilton, has released the music video for Lin-Manuel Miranda's “Fearless,” the title track from her debut EP. Watch it above.

The new video, which draws on the singer’s personal story, presents a powerful message in defense of immigrants’ rights in the U.S.

The solo album, Fearless, was released October 20.

Among the other tracks included on the album is an acoustic arrangement of “Breathe," Gonzalez’s stand-out number in Miranda's Tony-winning In the Heights. Gonzalez originated the role of Nina in the Broadway musical.

Fearless features seven tracks in total, written by such artists as Jennifer Nettles, Bill Sherman, and Tom Kitt. The EP is available at Fearless.us and on Spotify. The album also features a duet with Christopher Jackson, the Hamilton star who played opposite Gonzalez in In the Heights.

Gonzalez also performs songs from the album at Café Carlyle October 24–November 4.
