Tony honoree and Broadway favorite Julie Halston (Tootsie) will bring her new solo show Declassified! to Birdland Jazz Club October 17 at 7 PM ET. The performance will also be streamed live via FlyMachine.

Halston reveals advice her mother gave her during a medical emergency in the video above.

The upcoming show, according to press notes, will feature Halston assessing "the state of the world, the state of her life, and the state of her hair" after two-and-a-half years of "Zoom meetings and green screens."

Halston has performed on Broadway in Tootsie, You Can't Take It With You, Hairspray, Anything Goes, Gypsy, Twentieth Century, and The Women; and Off-Broadway in Fairycakes, The Babylon Line, and The Tribute Artist. She was awarded the Isabelle Stevenson Tony Award in 2021 for her work for The Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
