During a recent appearance on the Live with Kelly show, stage and screen star Josh Gad spoke about his unfortunate horse riding experience during the filming of the live-action Beauty and the Beast.
“I got to sing and do all the dancing but the hard part was that I had to horseback ride,” Gad told Kelly Ripa and guest co-host Cedric the Entertainer.
“Day one he threw me off his back,” continued the star. Gad, whose Broadway credits include The Book of Mormom and The 25th Annual Putman County Spelling Bee, stars as Le Fou in the adaptation.

Beauty and the Beast, slated for release next March, also stars Emma Watson as Belle and Dan Stevens as the Beast, with Ewan McGregor, Emma Thompson,Audra McDonald, Stanley Tucci, Luke Evans and more. It is helmed by Dreamgirls director Bill Condon.
