A 360-degree music video of the ABBA classic “Waterloo” from the forthcoming Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again—the sequel to the international hit Mamma Mia!—can be viewed above.
The sequel uses new songs and favorites heard in the original 2008 film adaptation of the musical sensation to tell two stories: the backstory of Donna Sheridan (Meryl Streep, her younger self played by Lily James), and what happens when her daughter Sophie (Amanda Seyfried) prepares to welcome a child of her own.
Several members from the original movie's cast, including Seyfried, Streep, Christine Baranski, Julie Walters, Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth, Stellan Skarsgård, and Dominic Cooper, return for the sequel. Joining them are several new faces, including James, Cher, and stage favorite Jessica Keenan Wynn.
Ol Parker, writer of The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, writes and directs the sequel from a story by Catherine Johnson, Richard Curtis, and Parker.
The movie arrives in theatres July 20.
