Betsy Wolfe, who completed a Broadway run in the title role of Waitress January 9, heads west with fellow stage star Jeremy Jordan for a concert with the Seattle Symphony January 12–14.
They will perform their Broadway Today concert in Benaroya Hall at the S. Mark Taper Foundation Auditorium in Seattle, Washington.
Steven Reineke will conduct the orchestra and soloists in selections from The Phantom of the Opera and Cats plus “Falling Slowly” from Once, “You and Me (But Mostly Me)” from Book of Mormon, and “Suddenly Seymour” from Little Shop of Horrors.
Wolfe played Rosa Budd in the 2012 Broadway revival of The Mystery of Edwin Drood and co-starred in Bullets Over Broadway and Falsettos. She has performed with many other orchestras including The New York Pops and Houston Symphony.
Jordan earned a Tony nomination for his performance in the lead role of Newsies. He co-starred in the film version of The Last Five Years, and currently is featured on the TV series Supergirl.
