Tony Awards Video: Tony Winner Linda Cho Thanks Broadway's Craftspeople

She won the Tony Award for Best Costume Design of a Musical for The Great Gatsby.

Costume designer Linda Cho won the 2024 Tony Award for Best Costume Design in a Musical for her work in Broadway's The Great Gatsby. Cho's designs are the life of the party, adorning the show's performers in all the glitz and glam of new money in 1920s New York.

Cho credits her award to the village of people who helped her achieve her Tony win. “From head to toe, there are different craftspeople who are incredible,” says Cho. “It literally takes so many people… hundreds of people to put those costumes that you see on stage every night.”

See everything Cho had to say after taking the Tony in the video above, in an interview with Playbill's Jeffrey Vizcaíno!
