Off-Broadway's live and streaming hybrid theatre company Thirdwing officially opens United Nations: The Other West—the follow-up to its 2022 play United Nations: The Border and The Coast—at 154 on Christopher Theatre, formerly the New Ohio Theatre, November 26 after beginning previews November 21. The production is being presented in collaboration with Out of the Box Theatrics, with performances continuing through December 10.

As with previous Thirdwing productions, the play is also being offered as a streaming title via a subscription model. Thirdwing's streaming platform already hosts the 2020 web series The United Nations and 2022's The Border and The Coast. Subscriptions include two in-person tickets to The Other West and an additional ticket to an upcoming production.

Written and directed by Thirdwing founder Cameron Darwin Bossert, the new work follows a new ambassador from West Africa's Burkina Faso who finds himself trapped in NYC's UN Headquarters with Russian and German representatives after climate activists force a lockdown.

The cast features Matthew Sanders, Yelena Shmulenson, Wesli Spencer, and Siobhan Crystal.

The production has costume design by Yolanda Balaña, lighting design by Clayton Mack, scenic design by Ella Schol, and an original score by Deeba Montazeri.

Tickets and streaming subscriptions are available at ThirdWing.Info.
