Emmanuelle Mattana gender-bending Off-Broadway play Trophy Boys has announced a second extension. The show will run through August 3 at MCC Theater. The show stars Mattana, Terry Hu (Never Have I Ever), Louisa Jacobson (The Gilded Age), and Esco Jouléy (Wolf Play) as a group of teenage boys.

The show began performances June 5. Read the reviews here.

The work centers on a debate team at an elite all-boys prep school one hour before their final match. As they prepare to smoke their sister school (on the prompt "feminism has failed women," no less), a rumor emerges that threatens to ruin everything. The Off-Broadway bow follows earlier stagings in Australia.
