Trans Voices Cabaret CHI, the Chicago off-shoot of the downtown cabaret series featuring up-and-coming transgender and non-binary performers, has announced the lineup of artists set for its July 30 premiere at Stage 773. Show time is 7:30 PM.
Among the artists announced are Charlie Baker, Elle Walker, Kelsey McGrath, Kyra Leigh, Larry D. Trice II, Lars Ebsworth, Lyla Whedbee, Micha The Star, North Rory Homeward, and Ricki Pettinato. Kyra Leigh is the pianist.
Produced by Molly Weaver and Lars Ebsworth, who also serves as director and music director, the Chicago showcase is inspired by the sold-out New York City concert series created by transgender actor Donnie Cianciotto (Southern Comfort).
