Directed by Tony nominee Leigh Silverman (Violet, Well), the play began previews April 28.
The Way We Get By is a story about love, lust and making connections. Seyfried and Sadoski star as two people who share an awkward encounter following a drunken wedding reception. "They wake up to a blurry morning where the rules of attraction, sex and society are waiting for them before their first cup of coffee," according to press notes, "leading them to ponder how much they really know about each other and how much they really care about what other people think."
Sadoski was Tony-nominated for his performance in the Broadway premiere of LaBute's Reasons to Be Pretty.
The production features set design by Neil Patel, costume design by Emily Rebholz, lighting design by Matthew Frey and sound design by Bart Fasbender. Casting is by Telsey + Co., Will Cantler.
LaBute's plays include Reasons to Be Pretty, Reasons to Be Happy, The Shape of Things, The Break of Noon, Fat Pig, The Money Shot and The Mercy Seat, among others.
