Presented by Rockefeller Productions, Jonathan Rockefeller's stage adaptation of The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle will return to the New York Stage February 10. The Off-Broadway run at Union Square's DR2 Theatre will open February 27.

Featuring over 75 puppets designed and built by Rockefeller Studios, the production will also feature music by Nate Edmondson. Audience members will have the change to participate in parts of the show and take a photo with the very hungry caterpillar itself.

The book is by Eric Carle and features four of Carle's stories. Serving on the creative team are associate director Vicki Oceguera, set designer Tyler Schank, and lighting designer Jeremy Burd. Casting is by Cindi Rush Casting.

The work's return also marks the beginning of a national tour. The show has previously been staged worldwide, including in Australia, New Zealand, China, Singapore, Dubai, Belgium, United Kingdom, Canada, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands.

Rockefeller previously brought a musical version of Disney's Winnie the Pooh Off-Broadway.
