The Unofficial Bridgerton Musical, written by Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear, has won the 2022 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theatre Album, with Barlow and Bear winning the honor for both their writing and Bear's producing of the album.

The concept album, which began life as a viral TikTok smash (garnering more than 36 million likes), was released last year to critical acclaim. The album was mixed by Scott Smith and produced by Bear, with Joris Hoogsteder co-producing the track “If I Were a Man.”
