George Street Playhouse in New Brunswick, New Jersey has revealed their complete 2024–2025 season, which includes five productions performing between next fall and spring 2025.

The season will launch with Heidi Schreck's What the Constitution Means to Me, in a new staging directed by Laiona Michelle and performing October 1–20. The work, which delves into the U.S. Constitution and women's rights, was a 2019 Pulitzer Finalist and earned two Tony Awards (including Best Play) for its 2019 Broadway bow.

Next up will be Cary Gitter's Gene & Gilda, running December 3–22. Joe Brancato will direct the new comedy about real-life married comics Gene Wilder and Gilda Radner.

Roberto Montano's Small will kick off the new year, running January 21–February 9, 2025 with Jessi D. Hill at the helm. The work follows Montano's journey as a diminutive actor and dancer, from being bullied at school to dancing on Broadway in Cats and On the Town.

Rajiv Joseph's King James will follow, running March 18–April 6. The work, which played an Off-Broadway run last year, centers on two sports fans bonding over NBA superstar LeBron James.

Closing out the season will be Ian Shaw and Joseph Nixon's The Shark is Broken, coming to George Street Playhouse after runs at Edinburgh Festival Fringe, London's West End, and Broadway. The three-actor work tracks director Robert Shaw and actors Roy Scheider and Richard Dreyfuss as they wait to film the iconic Hollywood blockbuster Jaws, a wait growing ever longer thanks to a malfunctioning shark animatronic. David Saint will direct the new staging for the New Jersey company, with performances running April 29–May 18, 2025.

Casting and full creative teams are to be announced.
