Sharon Kenny and Kirsten Guenther's The Real Housewives of New York City: An Opera will premiere with a one-night-only concert at The Cutting Room in NYC October 20.
A cast of Broadway favorites will star as the infamous cast of the reality series, including Christine Taylor Price as Tinsley Mortimer, Barbara Walsh (Company) as Dale Mercer, Stephanie Gibson (Cinderella) as Dorinda Medley, Lauren Blackman (Ragtime) as Countess Luann Delesseps, Hannah Solow (Oh, Mary!) as Ramona Singer, and Jessie Hooker Bailey (Waitress) as Sonja Morgan, with Colin Hanlon (Falsettos) as series creator-producer Andy Cohen.
The cast will also include Jacob Ben-Shmuel (Aladdin), Adam Enright (Only Murders in the Building), Aaron Fuksa (Hairspray), Ned Riseley (Six Degrees of Separation), and Sam Tedaldi (Be More Chill).
The work—featuring songs by Kenny, and a book by Guenther—will be directed by Mary Birnbaum and music directed by Adam Laird. Hannah Oren is serving as creative producer. Frank DiLella will narrate the performance.
