Directed by Gabriel Barre, the musical will officially open Oct. 23. The limited engagement — featuring choreography by Jennifer Paulson Lee — will play through Dec. 4.

Joining Gaylor and Montalban onstage are Jennifer Cody as the wicked stepsister Joy, Suzzanne Douglas as the Fairy Godmother, Joy Franz as Queen Constantina, Larry Keith as King Maximillian, Nora Mae Lyng as the wicked Stepmother, Stanley Wayne Mathis as the steward Lionel and Janelle Anne Robinson as the wicked stepsister Grace.

The ensemble comprises Lauren Brim, James Bulleri, Jacqueline Colmer, Joseph Cullinane, Ron DeStefano, Daisy Hobbs, Paul Jackel, Karina Michaels, Skie Ocasio, Diane Veronica Phelan, Jason Robinson, Dante Russo, Leah Sprecher, Tina Stafford, David Tankersley, Lael Van Keuren, Erin Webley and Jason Weston.

The creative team for the production features Jim Youmans (set design), Pamela Scofield (costume design), Tim Hunter (lighting design), Duncan Edwards (sound design) and Gerard Kelley (hair and Wig design) with musical direction by Tom Helm.

Featuring music by Richard Rodgers and lyrics and a book by Oscar Hammerstein II, Cinderella is based on the 1957 television special starring Julie Andrews. Directed by Ralph Nelson, the "Cinderella" TV broadcast originally aired on CBS March 31, 1957. The program drew more than 107 million viewers. The cast featured Andrews as Cinderella, Howard Lindsay as the King, Dorothy Stickney as the Queen, Ilka Chase as the Stepmother, Kaye Ballard and Alice Ghostley as the Stepsisters, Edie Adams as the Fairy Godmother, Jon Cypher as Prince Christopher, Robert Penn as Town Crier, Alexander Clark as the Captain of the Guard, Iggie Wolfington as the Chef and David F. Perkins as the Court Tailor. Lesley Ann Warren (1965) and pop singer Brandy (1997) starred as Cinderella in the subsequent TV versions. Angela Gaylor was most recently on Broadway as Anne in the revival of La Cage aux Folles. She has also been seen in productions of Oklahoma!, Hairspray, Dream a Little Dream, Best Foot Forward, Tom Jones, A Little Night Music, Carousel and Company.

Paolo Montalban previously played the Prince in the ABC/Disney presentation of "Cinderella," which also featured performances by Brandy, Whitney Houston, Whoopi Goldberg and Bernadette Peters. Montalban was on Broadway last season in the revival of Pacific Overtures, and his other theatrical credits include The King and I, Nine and Man of La Mancha. On screen the actor has been seen in "Mortal Kombat Conquest," "American Adobo" and "The Great Raid."

Song titles from "Cinderella" include "The Prince Is Giving a Ball," "In My Own Little Corner," "Impossible," "It's Possible," "Gavotte," "Ten Minutes Ago I Saw You," "Stepsisters' Lament," "Waltz for a Ball," "Do I Love You Because You're Beautiful?," "When You're Driving Through the Moonlight," "A Lovely Night" and "The Search."

Cinderella will play Wednesdays at 7:30 PM, Thursdays at 2 and 7:30 PM, Fridays at 8 PM, Saturdays at 2 and 8 PM and Sundays at 2 and 7:30 PM. Tickets, priced $19-$68, are available by calling (973) 376-4343 or by visiting www.papermill.org.
