Happy Halloween from Playbill. In celebration of the spooky season, we gathered together some of Broadway's best to share the real-life ghost stories of Broadway's theatres.
Tony nominee Crystal Lucas-Perry may be known for her quick comic timing, but she certainly has a spooky side. In honor of Halloween season, Perry visited Playbill Studios to share some of the haunting stories said to have occurred at the Gershwin Theatre. Elpheba and Glinda are not the only witches in the room.
The Gershwin may be one of Broadway's newest theatres, rising in 1972, but that doesn't make it immune ghostly apparitions. Three ghosts seem to have made themselves at home in its modern halls. Two appear to be older ghosts, donning 19th century clothing, but the third does not appear to be as old, wearing an eerily modern white t-shirt. A diehard Wicked fan, perhaps?
