Escape to Margaritaville, the new Jimmy Buffett musical, is set to begin performances at Broadway’s Marquis Theatre February 16 prior to an official opening March 15.
Directed by Tony winner Christopher Ashley and choreographed by Tony nominee Kelly Devine, the musical weaves original and classic Buffett tunes to tell the story of a part-time bartender and singer who questions his breezy lifestyle after meeting a beautiful, career-minded tourist.
Greg Garcia and Mike O'Malley penned the book.
