20th Century Blues, the new play by Blackburn Prize-winning playwright Susan Miller, will receive its New York premiere November 12 at The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center.

Tony nominee Emily Mann (Having Our Say) will direct the play, which follows a group of four women who reunite over the course of 40 years for a photo shoot that documents their changing and aging selves. Their friendship is tested when the private photographs have the potential to go public.

20th Century Blues will officially open November 26. Lida Orzeck and Eva Price produce the Off-Broadway engagement. An earlier version of the play had its 2016 premiere as part of the Contemporary American Theater Festival.

Casting will be announced at a later date.

The design team includes scenic designer Beowulf Boritt, costume designer Jennifer von Mayrhauser, lighting designer Jeff Croiter, and sound designer Darron L West.

Tickets go on sale to members of the general public August 21.
