Industry News Shoshana Bean, Kara Young, More Join American Theatre Wing's Advisory Committee

The new members will help guide The Wing’s programs, partnerships, and initiatives.

Seven new members have joined the American Theatre Wing's Advisory Committee, to help guide and amplify the Wing's mission across the theatre community.

The new members include two-time Tony nominee Shoshana Bean, most recently on Broadway in Hell's Kitchen; two-time Tony winner Kara Young, back on Broadway in the Tony-winning Purpose; journalist and NY1 On Stage host Frank DiLella; media strategist, investor, and producer Eric Kuhn; artist and entrepreneur Ashley Longshore, known for her feminist pop art empire; Dartmouth Associate Professor Monica White Ndounou, who is the founder and president of The CRAFT Institute and International Black Theatre Summit; and Nick White, who leads Arts & Culture Partnerships at Meta.

These new advisors join current members, who serve ATW’s mission of establishing programs and initiatives that nurture emerging artistic talent and honor groundbreaking theatrical work. For the complete list of Advisory Committee members, click here.

The American Theatre Wing, currently under the leadership of President and CEO Heather Hitchens, is the founder and co-presenter of the Tony Awards and the home of the OBIE Awards, and offers a suite of programs that address all aspects of the national theatre ecology.
