Roundabout Theatre Company's world premiere production of The Counter by Meghan Kennedy has found its cast.
Directed by Tony winner David Cromer, the play centers on a small town diner waitress and the friendship that develops between her and one of her regulars, even as their deepest secrets threaten to push them apart.
The Counter will star Anthony Edwards as Paul, Susannah Flood as Katie, and Amy Warren as Peg. This will mark both Edwards and Warren's Roundabout debuts. Flood has previously worked with the company on Broadway productions of Birthday Candles and The Cherry Orchard.
The creative team for The Counter will include set designer Walt Spangler, costume designer Sarah Laux, lighting designer Stacey Derosier, and sound designer Christopher Darbassie.
