Off-Broadway's Classic Stage Company has revealed the all-star lineup for their 3rd Annual Classics Gone Mad! benefit, set for April 7 at the company's Lynn F. Angelson Theatre.
The performance will feature Tony nominee Leslie Rodriguez Kritzer (Spamalot), Olivier winner Lesli Margherita (Gypsy), John Riddle (Frozen), The Skivvies (Nick Cearley and Lauren Molina), Tony nominee Ethan Slater (Wicked), Tonatiuh (Kiss of the Spiderwoman), and Jessica Vosk (Hell’s Kitchen), with more to be announced.
Hosted by drag legend Nina West, this year's event will be directed by CSC Associate Board members Cara Akselrad and Eric Ulloa, featuring an array of songs and scenes from John Kander and Fred Ebb's collaboration.
“Classics Gone Mad! is one of my favorite events we produce each year. The show gives us a chance to appreciate the legends of our artform in such a fun way. Audiences in years past have enjoyed an unforgettable experience, and we know the songs of Kander and Ebb will be prime material for antics to ensue,” said Producing Artistic Director Jill Rafson in a statement. “I’m also delighted to have the fabulous Nina West leading this evening, in her Off-Broadway hosting debut—this is going to be a night you won’t want to miss!”
Classics Gone Mad! raises funds to support CSC’s performance and educational programming. Tickets begin at $100. For more information, visit ClassicStage.org.
