See New Footage From Masquerade, Thanks to Playbill x Snapchat Launch Event
Playbill and Snapchat invited influencers to the hit immersive production, where they kept their phones turned on.

On February 25, Playbill partnered with Snapchat to host a Snap influencer event at Masquerade. The social media app, established in 2011, invited some of their "Snap Creators" to see a performance of the hit immersive reimagining Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera—A fitting choice considering the app's longtime logo: a ghost!
Invited Snap Creators Carmela (username "carmmiee"), Julia Carrano, Megha Singh, Ike Slimster, and Winta Zesu were able to capture moments of the show that have yet to be seen and shared in social media posts—including new footage of the Phantom's lair.

Before the event, a pre-dinner cocktail hour was held at Paris Bar NYC, where the Snap Creators, members of the Playbill staff, and other invited guests (all dressed in their finest black, white, and silver) mingled.
Following the performance, the Snap Creators were invited back into the Chandelier Room, where they watched the raising of the chandelier and received champagne. Stars from the show also came out to say hello and take photos.

Masquerade seeks to plant audiences right into the plot of Gaston Leroux's The Phantom of the Opera—as adapted in Lloyd Webber's long-running 1986 West End-Broadway musical. Once you have entered the Opera House, you trace the steps of the infamous Opera Ghost, who has been terrorizing the theatre's performers and management. As the story unfolds, you learn of the Opera Ghost's mentorship over Christine Daae—a young soprano who has become the object of his obsession.
The inventive new staging plays to six audience groups of about 60 people every evening, meaning the complete cast features more leads than the show did on Broadway.
The show recently added some new faces to its roster of stars. Quentin Earl Darrington and Ryan Vona have both joined the production in the title role, and Addie Morales has joined as Christine. Sharing the role of the Phantom along with Darrington and Vona are Nik Walker, Telly Leung, Kyle Scatliffe, and Clay Singer. Morales, Haile Ferrier, Erin LeCroy, Francesca Mehrotra, Riley Noland, and Kaley Ann Voorhees share the role of Christine.
The production has also recently added Dan Hoy as Raoul, Liz Pearce as Madame Giry, Cooper Stanton as Buquet, Milena Comeau in the ensemble, and vacation swings Audrey Logan and Sean Seamus Thompson.
The company also features Matthew Curiano as Andre, Nicholas Edwards as Raoul, Francisco Javier González as Raoul, Satomi Hofmann as Carlotta and Giry, Tia Karaplis as Giry, Jacob Lacopo as Buquet, Betsy Morgan as Carlotta and Madame Giry, Georgia Mendes as Meg Giry, Paul Adam Schaefer as Raoul, Jeremy Stolle as Firmin, and Andrew Wojtal as Buquet, along with Alaska, Laura Lee Anderson, Gabriella Enriquez, Maxfield Haynes, Bryan Hernandez-Luch, Kody Jauron, Joseph Kerr, Rawb Lane, Anna Monoxide, Charles Osborne, Chris Ryan, and Kevin Zambrano; and swings Lee H. Alexander, Nicole J. Fergeson, Nkrumah Gatling, Cooper Grodin, Nathan Keen, Michael Kuhn, Claire Leyden, Sami Merdinian, Dario Natarelli, Alex Ross, Jack Sullivan, Olivia Tarchick, and Nikita Yermak.
Tony winner Diane Paulus (Waitress, 1776) leads a creative team that includes Hunter Bird, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Kathy Fabian, James Fluhr, Jessie Flynn, Nicola Formichetti, Skylar Fox, Kate Lumpkin, J. J. Janas, Brett Jarvis, Marc Kimelman, Lee McCutcheon, Scott Pask, Emilio Sosa, Gypsy Snider, Ben Stanton, and William Waldrop.

Attendees of the production are given instructions from "their host," which includes a dress code advising patrons dress "extravagantly" in black, white, or silver and to wear a masquerade mask (if you do not have one, one will be provided) and to avoid wearing high heels to facilitate safe walking in the building's recreation of the Paris catacombs. The venue is described as fully ADA accessible, and guests with specific accessibility needs are encouraged to email [email protected].
The production team for the revival comprises Rosario Arcuri, Stephen Arnold, Sarah Battaglia, Sean Beach, Evan Bernardin, Will Blumberg, Antoine Boissereau, Carolyn Boyd, Simon Brouke, Kelbi Carrig, Ruth Carsch, Kerry Concannon, Brittany Coyne, Hailey Delaney, Eric Dente, Eli Diker, Elizabeth Emanuel, Randall Etheredge, Stephanie Leah Evans, Shoshana Fisher, Dawn-Elin Fraser, Megan Frazier, Misha Fristensky, Christina Grant, Chris Habana, Simon Hammerstein, Billie Harmon, Cesar Hawas, Isaac Hayward, Morgan Holbrook, Amelie Julicher, Andrew Katz, Viktoria-Isabella King, Jeffery Kurtz, McBee, Fiona McDougal, Brian Messina, Vittoria Orlando, Amanda Perry, Dotty Peterson, Cinder Petrichor, Diana Rebholz, Alicia Rodis, Sadie Schlesinger, Jake Scudder, Max Seelig, Giza Selimi, Ashley Setzler, James Sherwood, David Shocket, Naomi Symeou, Nakkia Smalls, Monet Thibou, Kristopher Thompson-Bolden, Madilyn Tramonte, Benjamin Weigel, Kat West, Nzinga Williams, Chelsea Wilson, David Andrew Wilson, Mike Wojchik, Alex Wolfe, Asher Young, and Alec Zbornak.
