The new series, which is currently in production in New York, casts stage and screen star Parker as Frances, a "woman who suddenly begins to reassess her life and her marriage, and finds that making a clean break and a fresh start is harder than she thought." Other series regulars include Thomas Haden Church, Molly Shannon, Talia Balsam and Tracy Letts.
"Divorce" was created by Sharon Horgan. Executive producers also include Horgan, Paul Simms, Alison Benson and Aaron Kaplan.
A broadcast date has yet to be announced.
Parker is married to Matthew Broderick, who can currently be seen on Broadway in Sylvia, a play that Parker previously performed Off-Broadway.
