Samuel French has announced the 30 plays that have been selected from 1,500 submissions for the 41st annual Off Off Broadway Short Play Festival.
Featured among the casts will be American Idiot’s Libby Winters and Ito Aghayere (Familiar), who are set to star in Jeffrey James Keyes’ Uniforms. Performances will begin August 9 at the East 13th Street Theater in New York and run through August 14.
The 2016 Off Off Broadway Short Play Festival will be made up of the following plays:

The OOB Festival Week consists of eight performance sessions in which three or four scripts are presented in front of a judging panel comprising theatre industry professionals. At the end of each session, the judges deliberate and select one or two plays to move on to the OOB Festival Finals. At the end of the Festival, Samuel French’s editorial staff will select six titles for publication and licensing.
