Off-Broadway News Roundabout Theatre Company Sets Dates for Off-Broadway's The Refuge Plays

The world premiere play by Nathan Alan Davis will run at the company's Laura Pell theatre.

The world premiere of The Refuge Plays by Nathan Alan Davis will begin previews at the Laura Pels Theatre in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre September 14 for a limited engagement through November 12. Opening night is set for October 4. The play is being produced by Roundabout Theatre Company in association with New York Theatre Workshop.

Patricia McGregor will direct the new work. The play follows a single Black family over 70 years, beginning deep in the woods of southern Illinois with a ghost delivering a foreboding message of death. 

The cast and creative team for The Refuge Plays will be announced at a later date.
