Goulet created the role of Lancelot — Arthur's champion and rival — in the musical fantasy by Frederick Loewe, Alan Jay Lerner and Moss Hart. Theater of the Stars in Atlanta produces the revival for a run at the Fox Theatre, July 27-Aug. 1. After Atlanta, this special tour of Camelot will play engagements in Kansas City, Memphis, Charlotte, NC, and Detroit.

Goulet graduated to the King Arthur role in touring productions over the last decade. He is known as a concert headliner, a recording artist and a TV and film actor. His stage credits have included recent tours of The Fantasticks, Man of La Mancha and South Pacific. He won a Tony Award for Best Leading Actor in a Musical for Kander and Ebb's The Happy Time.

The Theater of the Stars Camelot cast includes Teri Hansen as Guenevere, Nat Chandler as Sir Lancelot, James Valentine as Merlyn [sic] the Magician and Pellinore and Keith Merrill as Mordred.

Norb Joerder directs and choreographs the staging. The associate choreographer is Lisa Guignard. Musical director is John Visser. The production features lighting design by John McLain and sound design by Mark Cowburn.

Theater of the Stars will present Camelot at the Fox Theatre, 660 Peachtree Street, Atlanta. Performances are scheduled for Tuesday-Friday at 8 PM, Saturday at 2 PM and 8 PM and Sunday at 2 PM and 7:30 PM. Tickets are on sale through Ticketmaster.com at (404) 817-8700.
