Broadway alums Ashley Park and 2023 Oscar nominee Stephanie Hsu co-star in Joy Ride, a new raunchy film comedy, and the critics are weighing in. The film premiered at SXSW and is set to hit movie theatres June 23.

Directed by Adele Lim, the comedy follows four unlikely friends who find themselves on a once-in-a-lifetime international adventure when Audrey's (Park) business trip falls apart. When her childhood best friend Lolo (Sherry Cola), college friend turned Chinese soap star Kat (Hsu), and Lolo's eccentric cousin Deadeye (Sabrina Wu) join her on the road, things quickly go off the rails in an explicit exploration of identity, self-discovery, and the bonding power of friendship.
