Regency Girls Musical Holding NY Industry Presentations February 12-13

Regency Girls is holding industry presentations in New York February 12-13. The East Coast workshop follows an earlier fully-staged run at San Diego's Old Globe Theatre. Josh Rhodes is directing and choreographing.

The work follows an unmarried pregnant woman who embarks on a road trip with her best friends in 19th-century England, in search of the one woman who can change her fate. The musical features a book by Jennifer Crittenden and Gabrielle Allan, music by Curtis Moore, and lyrics by Amanda Green.

The presentations feature performances from Krystina Alabado (Mean Girls), John Behlmann (SMASH), Stephen DeRosa (The Queen of Versailles), Leslie Rodriguez Kritzer (Spamalot), Isabelle McCalla (Water for Elephants), Kate Rockwell (Mean Girls), Ryann Redmond (Frozen), Sav Souza (1776), Nik Walker (Hamilton), Marilyn Caserta, Taylor Crousore, Katy Geraghty, Amy Jo Jackson, Josh Marin, Elliott Mattox, and Alanna Saunders.

James Sampliner is serving as music supervisor and co-orchestrator with music direction by Sinai Tabak. The project features scenic design by Anna Louizos, sound design by Jason Crystal, associate direction by Deidre Goodwin, and associate choreography by Lee Wilkins. Baseline Theatrical is general managing, and Anjee Nero serves as production stage manager.
