Off-Broadway’s Signature Theatre celebrated the official opening of Edward Albee’s At Home at the Zoo, an evening of two Edward Albee plays (Homelife and The Zoo Story) in honor of the late, former resident playwright, February 21.
Both plays are directed by Drama Desk Award winner Lila Neugebauer (Everybody, The Wolves) and feature a cast made up of Tony Award winner Katie Finneran (Noises Off; Promises, Promises), Tony winner and House star Robert Sean Leonard (The Invention of Love), and Emmy nominee Paul Sparks (House of Cards, Boardwalk Empire).
Performances of Edward Albee’s At Home at the Zoo began January 30 and have been extended through March 18.

In act one, Albee’s play Homelife, we meet Peter and his wife, who live a comfortable but unhappy bourgeois existence. In the second act, the play The Zoo Story, Peter’s life is changed by the arrival of a persistent stranger in Central Park.
