Stage and screen star Rosalind Eleazar and Olivier nominee Rachel Tucker have joined the cast of the world premiere of Rebecca Lenkiewicz’s Small Hotel, the final play in this year’s Ralph Fiennes/Theatre Royal Bath Season.

Directed by Holly Race Roughan, performances are scheduled for October 3-18 starring the previously announced Fiennes and Francesca Annis.

In Small Hotel, Fiennes will play Larry, a TV celebrity whose life is unraveling. As he is forced to unpick his past, audiences will meet a collection of characters, including Larry’s troubled twin brother Richard; his former lover, actress Marianne (Eleazar); and his domineering mother Athena (Annis).

Eleazar recently starred in Slow Horses, alongside Gary Oldman and Jack Lowden, while her theatre credits include the National Theatre’s The House of Bernada Alba and Uncle Vanya at the Harold Pinter Theatre. Tucker’s numerous West End credits include Wicked, Come From Away, Sunset Blvd., Hadestown, and We Will Rock You. She has appeared on Broadway in Come From Away, The Last Ship, and Wicked. Veteran actor Annis' stage career with the RSC and National Theatre has encompassed many iconic roles, including playing Juliet opposite Ian McKellen’s Romeo in Romeo and Juliet.

The upcoming production will also have set design by Bob Crowley, costume design by Loren Elstein, lighting design by Sally Ferguson, sound design and music by Max Pappenheim, movement direction by Sarah Fahie, video design by Luke Halls, hair and makeup design by Susanna Peretz, casting by Amy Ball, and intimacy coordination by Haruka Kuroda.

Fiennes won a 1995 Tony for his performance in the title role of Hamlet. He is an Oscar nominee for his work in Schindler's List, The English Patient, and Conclave.
