The classic Irving Berlin musical Annie Get Your Gun will be presented in concert April 7, 2023, at The London Palladium.
The company will be led by Olivier nominee Rachel Tucker (Come From Away, Wicked, We Will Rock You) as sharp-shooter Annie Oakley and stage and screen star Julian Ovenden (Downton Abbey, The Crown, Bridgerton) as Frank Butler.
Additional casting and creative team members will be announced at a later date.
Annie Get Your Gun features music and lyrics by Irving Berlin and a book by Herbert and Dorothy Fields, revised by Peter Stone for the 1999 Broadway revival. Among the many classic Berlin songs in the score are "There's No Business Like Show Business," "Doin' What Comes Natur'lly," "You Can't Get a Man with a Gun," "Moonshine Lullaby," "They Say It's Wonderful," "I Got Lost in His Arms," "I Got the Sun in the Morning," and "Anything You Can Do."
Ethel Merman created the title role in the original 1946 Broadway production; Bernadette Peters starred in the 1999 revival.
The evening will be presented by Lambert Jackson, Cuffe and Taylor, and Live Nation.
