Film & TV News Rachel Bloom Reveals Crazy Ex-Girlfriend Reunion Concerts

The concerts will commemorate a decade since the premiere of the musical comedy series.

It's the sexy getting ready concert special. Comedian and performer Rachel Bloom has announced that the cast of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend will reunite for three concerts, to commemorate a decade since the musical comedy series first premiered on The CW. The concerts will take place October 3 at New York's Beacon Theatre, October 17 at The Wiltern in Los Angeles, and October 18 at the Orpheum Theatre in San Francisco.

Bloom will be joined by cast members from the series: Broadway alums Donna Lynne Champlin, Gabrielle Ruiz, and David Huill; and Scott Michael Foster, Vincent Rodriguez III, Pete Gardner, and Kathryn Burns.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend ran for four seasons on The CW, from 2015-2019. Bloom, who also starred in the series, created it with Aline Brosh McKenna (The Devil Wears Prada). In the show, Bloom played Rebecca Bunch, who impulsively moves from New York to California to reunite with her teenage crush. Every episode contained multiple original musical numbers, with many of the songs written by Adam Schlesinger (who passed away in 2020). The series also featured numerous Broadway names as regular characters or in guest parts, including Tovah Feldshuh, Santino FontanaSkylar Astin, Lea Salonga, and Josh Groban

Presale for the concerts will take place September 3 at 12 PM local time. General onsale will take place September 4 at 11 AM local.

Bloom was previously onstage in Death, Let Me Do My Show, which she wrote and performed in Off-Broadway in 2023. That show was filmed and can be streamed on Netflix under the title Death, Let Me Do My Special
