News Public Memorial Will Be Held in NYC for Emmy-Winning Doris Roberts Barbara Cook will perform at the tribute to the late actress.

Everybody Loves Raymond's Ray Romano will host a public memorial tribute to his late co-star, Emmy winner Doris Roberts, May 16 at noon at Broadway's Ambassador Theatre (219 W. 49th Street).

A special performance will be given by Tony winner Barbara Cook. General admission seating is available to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors open at 11:30 AM.

Ms. Roberts, beloved for work both on stage and screen, earned four Emmys for the role as the loving matriarch in Everybody Loves Raymond. Her Broadway career began in the 1950s, as she appeared in numerous Broadway shows, including William Marchant's The Desk Set (with Shirley Booth), Neil Simon's The Last of the Red Hot Lovers (with James Coco and Linda Lavin) and Terrence McNally's Bad Habits. She is the recipient of numerous stage and screen awards including an Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Actress in a Play. Ms. Roberts passed away April 17. She was 90 years old.
