Elaine May was last seen on Broadway in 1966's short-lived The Office, which closed before officially opening, running only 10 performances. The show was directed by Jerome Robbins and also featured Doris Roberts, Bill Daniels, and Jack Weston. May will return to Broadway this year to star in Kenneth Lonergan’s The Waverly Gallery.
