Playbill.com polled our readers via Facebook and Twitter. Their responses follow:
JohnMichael Schott: The video of Julia Murney at a benefit, singing a thrown-together-before-showtime-because-the-original-performer-had-to-drop-out Sondheim medley is fantastic. It showcases both her sense of humor and her wonderful voice.
Taylor Briese: I love this Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth performance because not only is it at the Tony's, it's also the best video out there to see the two of them together. Being that I never saw them in Wicked, this video gives me a small taste of what seeing them together would have been like.
Bryan Giansanti: Ummm helloooooo?!? Jennifer Holliday '82 Tony's!!!
Nathan Hinds: Audra singing "Some Days." It is such a simple sentiment and a simple arrangement, yet the truth in the lyrics is extremely powerful. She is truly one of the greatest performers of our time, and this video is an example of how easily she can move an audience.
Alanna Perkovich-Smith: Without a doubt Idina Menzel with Jimmy Fallon and The Roots performing "Let It Go" with classroom instruments! This aired the night after the "Adele Dazeem" fiasco at the Oscars and she could not have been more relaxed, more joyful and more fabulous than she was in that little room with those guys. This video never fails to make me smile.
David Zierk: Barbara Harris in her Tony winning Apple Tree video and nearly every video of Carol Burnettshow video I'd love to post! They just don't make comedians like this anymore. Enjoy-
Laura Hefner: Laura Benanti singing "Model Behavior" from Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown at the 2011 Drama Desk Awards!
A.S. DiRocco: There are so many to videos to chose from, one of my favorites has to be Michelle Nicastro. This is her performance from a Los Angeles S.T.A.G.E. Benefit -- "Part of Your World" from The Little Mermaid. Although Michelle lost her battle with cancer, we have audio recordings thanks to Bruce Kimmel from his days at Varese Sarabande. Michelle's version of "Disneyland" from Smile is amazing, but have yet to find a video on YouTube.
Jackie Ostick: Patti LuPone.."With One Look" in London. She gets so emotional.
Jeff Driscoll: Megan Hilty singing "Part of Your World" -- I've never heard the song sung like this before.
Larry Stuckey: Heather Headley at her BEST! This performance is such a hearfelt tribute to Elton John.
Jennine Gibbons: "The Meg n Sho Show" with Megan Hilty and Shoshana Bean because they do a Wicked role swap. They are one of the best Glinda/Elphaba duos!
Amani J K Alexander: Everything Audra does is gorgeous, but it's nice to see a singer sitting and everything come naturally ("Stars and the Moon" from Songs for a New World)
Kelly Wilson: Carol Burnett's version of "I'm Not Getting Married Today" from Putting it Together. Comedic MASTERPIECE!
Sierra Hines Natalie Weiss is a damn genius! She can riff my face off any day! Funny and damn that girl can sing!
Chelsea Noffsinger: Idina Menzel singing "For Good" a cappella at Radio City Music Hall, it really shows her power in her voice and her power as a performer to push a song all the way to the rafters sans a microphone and orchestration.
Jeffery Rockey: Dorothy Loudon paying tribute to Sondheim!
Eric Michaud: The duet version of "Meadowlark" as performed by Betsy Wolfe and Lindsay Mendez is pretty wonderful.
Heather Uy: Laura Benanti performing a Passion mash-up with the Skivvies!!
