Industry News Phylicia and Condola Rashad to Appear in Conversation at Signature Theatre The mother-daughter duo will discuss their experiences as African American women working in the entertainment industry and more.

Tony winner Phylicia Rashad, who is currently directing the Off-Broadway revival of Stephen Adly Guirgis' Our Lady of 121st Street, and Condola Rashad, the Tony-nominated star of the Broadway revival of Bernard Shaw's Saint Joan, will appear in conversation together at Signature Theatre May 21.

The mother-daughter duo will discuss their experiences as African American women working in the entertainment industry, their family relationship both in and out of the industry, their work on their current theatre productions, and more.

The discussion will take place at The Irene Diamond Stage (currently home to Our Lady of 121st Street) at The Pershing Square Signature Center beginning at 6 PM. Award-winning director and Apollo Theater Executive Producer Kamilah Forbes will moderate.

Our Lady of 121st Street is now in previews at Signature Theatre, where it is scheduled to play through June 10. Saint Joan opened on Broadway April 25 at MTC’s Samuel J. Friedman Theatre, where it continues to play.
