New photos from photographer Michael Kushner's Dressing Room Project go behind the scenes to see how the cast of Off-Broadway's Little Shop of Horrorscurrently led by Thomas Doherty (HBO Max's Gossip Girl reboot) and Emmy nominee Madeline Brewer (The Handmaid's Tale)—prepare to star in the revival at the Westside Theatre.

Also in the company are Drama Desk nominee Jeremy Kushnier (Footloose, Jesus Christ Superstar) as Dr. Orin Scrivello D.D.S., Tony nominee Reg Rogers (The Dazzle, Merrily We Roll Along) as Mushnik, Christian McQueen as The Voice of Audrey II, Christine Wanda as Ronnette, Salome Smith as Crystal, and Morgan Ashley Bryant as Chiffon as well as Teddy Yudain, Jonothon Lyons, Mecca Hicks, Aveena Sawyer, Jeff Sears, Jon Hoche Johnny Newcomb, David Colston Corris, Alloria Frayser, Christopher Swan, and Chani Maisonet.

Doherty is also known for his work in Disney’s Descendants, Paradise, Tell Me Lies, Catherine the Great, The Invitation, and Girls5Eva. In addition to The Handmaid's Tale, Brewer was seen as Bronte in the final season of Netflix’s You, Dawn in Hustlers, Raiman in Black Mirror, Miranda Cates in Hemlock Grove, and Tricia Miller in Orange Is the New Black. Both are making their New York stage debuts in Little Shop.

The production, as previously reported, will welcome Tony nominee Andrew Durand (Dead Outlaw) as Dr. Orin Scrivello D.D.S. beginning November 25; Durand will succeed Kushnier, who plays his final performance November 23.

Previous players in the roles of Seymour and Audrey Off-Broadway have included Jonathan Groff, Tammy Blanchard, Jeremy Jordan, Lena Hall, Maude Apatow, Gideon Glick, Rob McClure, Skylar Astin, Conrad Ricamora, Matt Doyle, Darren Criss, Milo Manheim, Sherie Rene Scott, Evan Rachel Wood, Corbin Bleu, Constance Wu, Sarah Hyland, Andrew Barth Feldman, and RuPaul's Drag Race winner Jinkx Monsoon, who became first drag queen to play Audrey in a major production of the musical.

The Off-Broadway revival began previews September 17, 2019, prior to an official opening October 17; the production resumed its run September 21, 2021, after temporarily closing in March 2020 due to the pandemic.

Director Michael Mayer's creative team for the Howard Ashman-Alan Menken musical also includes choreographer Ellenore Scott, scenic designer Julian Crouch, lighting designer Bradley King, costume designer Tom Broecker, sound designer Jessica Paz, puppet designer Nicholas Mahon, original puppet designer Martin P. Robinson, hair and makeup designer Tommy Kurzman, music supervisor, orchestrator, and arranger Will Van Dyke, and casting director Jim Carnahan. Puppets are by Monkey Boys Productions.

General management is by Live Wire Theatrical/Chris Aniello, and production stage management is by Kate Croasdale.
