Behind the Scenes with James Barbour at Ogunquit Playhouse's Witches of EastwickThe Ogunquit Playhouse's production of The Witches of Eastwick plays the Maine venue Sept. 3-27. James Barbour, who stars as the devilish Darryl Van Horne, shares some photos from backstage and around the scenic Maine town.
The musical, based on the film of the same name, concerns "three bored New England women brewing and stewing about their dull lives, and wishing for the man of their dreams. They get far more than they bargain for when all hell breaks loose and the devil incarnate arrives to liven things up!"
Shaun Kerrison directs the limited engagement with choreography by Lisa Stevens and musical direction by Julian Bigg. Original costumes are designed by Dustin Cross.

The production will include Bernstein’s incidental music for Lillian Hellman’s adaptation of The Lark, and Menotti’s The Unicorn, The Gorgon, and The Manticore.
