Once we know the audience is seated the anticipation to "places" begins.

I can never stay too long because I like to get home and have a little pistachio and tea party with my mother, who I take care of because she suffers from Alzheimer's disease.

Sometimes I write until 6 or 7 AM, after which I’ll make breakfast and then sleep. There are days when I don't wake until afternoon because I write overnight.

This is the picture of myself as Baby muMs, my mother and my father. That inspires me to write.

While working on Collision, I’m in the middle of a rewrite of my latest play, Loveness: I'll only love you once, which will be the read in the Labyrinth Theater Company’s upcoming Barn Series. When I wake my day starts all over again.
The Amoralists' world-premiere of Lyle Kessler's college-set drama Collision opened Jan. 22 Off-Broadway at the Rattlestick Playwrights Theater.
The cast features Michael Cullen (Bus Stop, Bug), Craig 'muMs' Grant ("Oz"), James Kautz (The Pied Pipers of the Lower East Side, The Hallway Trilogy), Nick Lawson (The Pied Pipers of the Lower East Side, Happy in the Poorhouse) and Anna Stromberg (The Bad and the Better, HotelMotel). Here's how the 90-minute work is billed: "In Collision, chance encounters prove calculated when three students, a professor, and a stranger come together in this incendiary drama. Set in a college dormitory somewhere in the heart of America, this band of incongruous intellectuals with hidden scars embarks on a dangerous course to create order out of chaos. Their united moral compass will guide them to the edge of the cliff…and beyond. What happens when all the wrong people meet at exactly the right time?"
