The Carlyle, which underwent a "soft renovation during the summer months," according to an announcement, held its own return engagement party Sept. 18 to celebrate the remodeling just in time for Kitt's stint at the Café. The renovation included the "installation of newly designed banquets, chairs, as well as a state-of-the-art sound and light system." The famous murals remain untouched.
